The Manor

This property was built in 1886, and unfortunately when we came on the job, we could tell! The floors were rotting into the ground — and that wasn’t the only problem.

We lifted the floor and did a full insulation job. Central heating revolutionised the feel of the place, making it warmer and more welcoming. For this ‘grand old lady,’ our design team aimed for airy elegance with a nod to the historical significance of the site. One major way they achieved this was to use wainscoting to soften the harsh concrete walls.
